Sogno in Langa was born from a dream of founder Paola Roggero that has now become reality.
An ancient farmhouse finely restored on the hill of Monforte d'Alba, in an enchanting location surrounded by vineyards in the heart of the prized Barolo Cru "Bricco San Pietro".
Four refined and cozy rooms and an elegant infinity pool to enjoy the surrounding panorama of the Unesco World Heritage Langa hills.
On the ground floor, the large kitchen with living room directly overlooks the patio, solarium and infinity pool
The sound of water cascading down from a small waterfall and the greenery of the rows of vines surrounding Sogno in Langa give an immediate feeling of well-being and relaxation for a pleasant, rejuvenating and relaxing experience.
A rich continental breakfast is served each morning in the kitchen or on the patio, with local products, fresh fruit and vegetable extracts.
In the heart of the Barolo Cru
Together with the Bussia area, Bricco San Pietro is the other 'giant' of the Western Slope of Monforte d'Alba, a large vineyard of almost 170 hectares classified as a Cru.
An area therefore very extensive, on which different conditions occur: from the cool and steep side overlooking Corsini, to the warm and bright side of Settevie and Manzoni, to the breadth of Tantesi and the rolling hills of Pansoglio, Cucchi and Viglioni.
Bricco San Pietro is undoubtedly the area of Monforte d'Alba that has seen the greatest ferment in terms of plantings and new wineries, so much so that the proposal of labels, until yesterday rather limited in relation to the extension of the mention, has now become more articulate, allowing a better understanding of the value and character of areas once unexplored. And speaking of value, the true standard-bearer of this mention is Rocche dei Manzoni's Barolo Vigna d'la Roul, as deep, tarry as it is different from the generally more agile style of the Manzoni, Cucchi and Viglioni Barolos.
